There is no version of yourself you could become that would satisfy the people who hate you. So you might as well be who you are.
Every. single. woman. has played nice and attempted to placate an angry man they are forced to interact with in personal or work life. Hell, when a creep at work commented on my appearance recently, I just said "thank you." I didn't welcome the comments, but I didn't know what else to do right then.

He says only evidence of abuse is ex’s claims, but his 2yo really did have a broken collarbone. That’s evidence! He said it was caused by a seatbelt, which, even if true, means he 1) put her in a car w no car seat OR 2) installed the car seat wrong, AND 3) didn’t notice the injury. That’s abuse!
