It's a loophole companies use as an excuse to underpay translators, and nothing else.

The Funny Pages exhibition is a genuine labor of love. Indiana has so much major creative ties to the comic industry that is quite often overlooked. So many people have come together to help make this happen. I hope you guys will consider coming October 2nd - October 31.

When was the last time indie game marketing made you actually buy a game right then and there? (Not wishlist, BUY)
kill the MAHA in your head, a non-exhaustive list: -stop using the word "chemicals" in a derogatory way. When criticizing specific types of chemicals, be specific. -stop saying "clean eating" for whatever diet you're on. food you're avoiding isn't dirty or bad just because you are avoiding it.
Visual example: Let's say it's VERY important that your readers notice a key getting stolen by a mouse. You do NOT want your readers to miss this as it plays a huge role in the plot later. Will some people notice the mouse in the first example? Sure. But EVERYONE will notice in the second.
Landeg@landeg.world · 6d agoA piece of advice for people getting into making comics: if you want your readers to notice or pay attention to something, it should be framed in the panel in a way that makes them notice or pay attention to it accordingly. That seems obvious on paper, but apparently it's easy to forget
it must be so difficult to act with a character who you can’t even see. thankfully, Foghorn is just that talented
