ok I know most of what I know about extensions from hairdresser TikTok but six seems ridiculously few for a professional production I'm with her. do not short hair and makeup, they are vital to film.

She was AGHAST that Nolan, with his million $ budget, gave Matt Damon ONLY 6 hair extensions. As a result, his hair did not blow around properly, & that ruined the film for her.
I stayed in a shitty hotel over the weekend and with this weird carpet of apparently random colors, patterns, and textures. Having come out of manufacturing, I immediately realized this is what they do with all their scrap and offcuts.
They could always sign up to give comment at a public meeting.

So apparently that HWA pro-AI newsletter also uses Indigenous water rights issues as a prop, trivializing the activism by Indigenous peoples to protect our water including specific anti-data centre actions. I guess they figured why not alienate Indigenous horror writers while they’re at it?

a lot of people seem to think there is a fundamental inferiority to women that simply isn't true and a lot of those differences are less your biological makeup and more the fact that boys get so much more support, food, and training than girls, that gulf vanishes the more you equalize those things

I need people to understand that for the last half decade that there’s been an ecosystem of trans folks in sports media who have worked unpaid to serve as experts for context, sources and educators on what it’s like for trans athletes, in hopes of potential bylines and contacts. That’s dried up.
