The overwhelming right wing sentiment is that COVID was an engineered bioweapon that was also harmless. Trump overreacted to it by shutting down the country, then engineered a drive to create a vaccine that was the real bioweapon that killed millions, and it's Joe Biden's fault.

G Elliott Morris@gelliottmorris.com · 3w agoWhat 'moderation' really means is adopting the views of a very small group of loud, centrist writers and their big business backers, and is increasingly out of step with (a) the big problems in the US and (b) the polling on what Americans say are the biggest problems they want government to fix.
The US built the greatest talent magnet ever, attracting the smart, skilled, and striving. They’d come to study, then stay and build things here, or leave with positive impressions and fruitful connections. Helped make the US wealthy and powerful. Then America chose to throw it away. And for what?

Crowley, who was polling at 5%, dropped out. Dem leaders convinced him to get back in because they will get the governor to endorse him as well as ensure Mandela Barnes, who is polling at 25-30%, drops out. This is all to stop Hong, the person actually winning right now, because they love democracy

I'll summarize this: Mamdani asked NYers to keep air conditioning at 78 degrees. A wave criticism hit online. A MSNBC broadcast pointed out the US Department of Energy recommends that 78 degree figure. Immediately after, the US Department of Energy deleted 6,000 web pages related to energy saving.
This birthright ruling is why I just refuse to tolerate all the Democrat garment rending over NY voters choosing progressive candidates. They are incapable of governing in this moment. The politics of appeasement and centrism gets us to a 5-4 decision on the constitutional question.
Roe is gone. Trans people have been sufficiently shoved under the bus and run over (twice). What will the boogeyman of the mid-terms be?

All of these cases are basically litmus tests for any Dem nominee. Are immigrants Americans? Do trans Americans deserve human rights? Are corporations superhumans who get to spend endlessly on elections to put whoever they want into power? These are simple questions with simple answers.
