Sending love to my Arab and Muslim friends right now. I see the Islamophobia and racism you're experiencing right now. It's not okay. And this Jewish woman says you're awesome and I'm proud to stand with you. (The only thing I'm mad about is not being able to vote for Mamdani OR El-Sayed.)

Just cause I want this out there: I honestly don't give a shit that Ken Jennings plays NYT games. It was his flippant and smug response to someone telling him the NYT is a transphobic institution that got me. Acting as though he in any way speaks for the trans community is gross.
Ever think about how the bar for “crazy online trannies” is like being noisy about our mistreatment and having vulnerable crash outs about our struggles, but cis people are out here doing like whatever the fuck lookmaxxing is and that’s apparently at the very least equivalent?
A trans couple has been brutalized by a mob, and then the trans woman ended up being arrested afterwards, at a public bathroom in Louisiana. EITM writer S Baum investigates this horrible act of violence in our latest piece. www.erininthemorning.com/p/trans-coup...
Trans Couple Brutalized At Louisiana Park Bathroom, Then Charged By Police
An angry mob allegedly beat them. The police charged them. The municipality voted for one of the most severe anti-trans bathroom ordinances in the country.

Dr Stephenson really gives the vibe of the supply teacher everyone mocked. I'll defy the guidance hun, but it won't be performative - I'm just going to ignore it as should every trans person who can safely do so!
lol the Times can’t even get the acronym right
I feel like I’ve aged 10 years in the last half a week
The government’s transphobic statutory guidance is now in force, telling organisations that provide services they can no longer be trans inclusive. This will have a devastating impact on the everyday lives of trans people. So we’re backing a legal challenge against it: https://goodlaw.social/pmbo

Fun fact, this is merely guidance, not actually hard law. It doesn't have the force of statute or a judgement. Do with that information what you will

The Equality and Human Rights Commission’s (EHRC) Code of Practice for Services, Public Functions and Associations officially comes into effect today. Read our full joint statement: transactual.org.uk/blog/2026/08...
Kind of ironic that some of the same "Blue no matter who!" crowd who said any reluctance to vote for a democratic candidate was a "purity" issue, are now saying they won't vote for Abdul El-Sayed...
Is segregation day and I am, once again, in the hospital 🙌
The original guidance was as close as you can get to a common sense intergration and balancing of everyone's collective and individual rights to dignity and privacy. Which is why they had to get rid of it.
In 2011, the UK government response to antitrans provocations was "Don't be so bloody stupid".
A court ruling in 2025 by the supreme court decided the govt couldn't have possibly meant precisely what the government said in a lot of detail when the act was originally published, an instead must have been interpreting the EA2010 as excluding trans people in most goods and services.

"it provides practical guidance" There's actually video evidence of you in parliament proving that it decidedly does not.
Do me a favour - Post this link every time you see someone talking about the EHRC guidance. Help the community stay safe in a hostile world. www.essehouse.co.uk/pee-in-peace-program

When they said “there will be no toilet police” they were always just saying so we need You 🫵 to be a toilet vigilante and sniff out the gender deviants
This is what they expected and wanted to happen: that members of the public, shown the cops would take their side if they kicked off and went mental at anyone they suspected of being a transgender, would then start going apeshit en masse and enforce their wacko ideas for them.
Happy segregation day everyone. I have no doubt this government (and Starmer) will eventually be remembered for their awful human rights abuses. Take care if you’re out and about today - there will be GCs around actively looking to ruin our day. Hopefully they’ll end up targeting each other! 🤞
Lot of cis people still dont see trans people being forced out of public spaces as segregation and i urge them to wake the fuck up and read a history book as well as a dictionary Its *literally* segregation If you think even saying it is bad, you should be angry its actually happening
The BBC is also doing this with its coverage of other countries — their coverage of Tickle v Giggle calls Roxy Tickle “a biological male who identifies as a woman”. Given what Tickle v Giggle has been about, this also has the side effect of rendering the coverage significantly less coherent
Can I get a fuck the BBC for this awful definition: "a transwoman, a person born a biological male who identifies as a woman"
Happy Segregation Day everyone! Today will eventually go down in history as an infamous mistake and breach of human rights but not before it's caused huge amounts of pain and trouble. This Government will be remembered as the worst for trans rights ever, as bad as Thatcher's Section 28 if not worse.
Good morning. Welcome to the UK, where our equalities watchdog has a handy guide on how to hatecrime people you don’t like the look of in public toilets and the Tories are standing a Neo-Nazi local government candidate who was jailed for antisemitic harassment.
Oh no! Poor “women”, (by which the Times means “transphobes”) totally on their own! And against one of the poorest, most marginalized & disempowered minorities in the country, with only the help of the entire mainstream media & £ millions in donations from wealthy fascists and billionaires!
"The Equality Act always discriminated against trans people, we just read it wrong for fifteen years" is right up there with the standards of jurisprudence we're coming to expect from the Anglosphere these days.
now transgender is illegal i actually woke up as a cis woman can you believe it cant believe the mad gang has actually done it they defeated transgender at midnight last night we all just turned cis isnt that wild
