It’s time we sorted out the press. Constant misinformation to protect their donors and fossil fuels is destroying lives and our planet. The Government must step up and stop being cowardly.

Sorry Zack Polanski this long hot summer is not the apocalypse - it's like a gloriously long holiday in France

Plenty to reflect about re: the Arday affair, but I'm going to repeat this one thing. The playbook the right used here is effective even though it's not especially sophisticated, as it relies on the audience to do the dirty work. I've been calling it "Trojan horse propaganda", let's go with that. 1/

Them: Our model is so powerful. It has now gained supernatural powers. Me: Go away. Them: It escaped and started hacking other companies. We tried our best to lock it down in jail. This is scary. We are scared. Humanity is doomed. Me: You left the door open, didn't you?

Twitter died a long time ago and X isn't worth it. Before I made the jump, my ego was holding me back. I was too concerned with vanity metrics. I finally realized if you're posting stuff people want to follow, then they'll follow you, even when you leave. www.siliconrepublic.com/enterprise/k...

I think functionally all of the post-resignation coverage that was about him rather than Cambridge was excessive (e.g. this poisonous review of a book nobody is going to buy - why)

Cambridge University should have known better, Fleet Street should have known better, the people hungrily absorbing every bit of news about it, making newsrooms feel like they had to keep going with it as a story, should have known better, horrible horrible horrible

Hey everybody. I’ve seen the statement by Matt Karch, the CEO of Saber Entertainment, and all of the truly horrendous things he said about me. I think it should be obvious to anyone who reads that statement that he’s lashing out because he did not want people to know there was AI use in the game.

Hey Bluesky book people. Here’s something I wrote and is available today in paperback. In case there is room in your heart/on your shelf for another thriller. An art gallery burns but the fire brigade save the wrong art because their grab list has been tampered with. It’s a black tag fire…
