I’ve learned that you can drop a bucket of mods onto GTA IV with relative ease and make it very playable on a modern pc. Looks really good, plays well (no bugs or crashes in 10+hrs)

I really don’t get the air travel thing it feels so much better these days. Apps & realtime data changed everything, way cheaper, epic safety records, food is better, wifi and entertainment, no more smoking, nice carry on luggage… Some process/service stuff maybe but the experience is much more🤷♂️

I really wonder what motivates political vandals like Ford, Smith in AB, Sim in Vancouver, etc. They seem to take such glee in what’s worse for people. Actually I don’t wonder much I just want them to leave so those of us who want safety, clean air, etc can get to it.

I have, with my own eyes, watched my tax dollars in the form of missiles as they hit buildings inhabited by civilians. I'd much prefer subsidizing a grocery story I don't use.

When you step back and think about it, it's absolutely flabbergasting that we're allowing a bunch of corporate tech bros to just *take* the entirety of mankind's knowledge, and repackage it so they can act like they own it, and then attempt to sell it back to all of us in perpetuity. Like... no.
This is a fine enough joke but I find Air Canada way better than WestJet or even momentary darling Porter (flair not even in the running).

Vancouver has stations with appropriate land use too (e.g. downtown) but does any other Canadian city have policy failures anywhere near the scale of Nanaimo or 29th stations, which are an 11 or 12 minute ride from the CBD on a high frequency line and still dominated by SFH 40 years after opening?
