Wildberries is also most indebted company in whole of Russia. It's carrying about $10 billion worth of debt. Most of that debt is held by state-sponsored, state-directed VTB Bank. Thinking in Kyiv seems to be that if they can bring down Wildberries, maybe they can bring down VTB Bank.
Michael Clarke: Last night, Ukraine attacked a Wildberries warehouse in Tula region. This was 14th of 15 biggest Wildberries warehouses. Wildberries now suffered attacks, destruction, or damage to 60% of its warehousing capacity. It's cost them $3 billion worth of stock so far.
Just crossed the terminal: Microsoft disclosures suggest that OpenAI is about 70% of AI sales! If only someone had said something
Analysts estimate that 70%+ of Microsoft, Google and Amazon's present and future AI revenues are from Anthropic and OpenAI's compute spend and model sales. Outside of two unsustainable AI labs, demand barely exists, and they've massively overbuilt capacity. www.wheresyoured.at/the-ai-deman...
You should expect the pipeline to get fast-tracked. That's the whole point here -- it removes excuses about federal approvals and reveals the real, and longstanding, impediment to Danielle Smith's dreams of doubling oil production: economics. www.nationalobserver.com/2026/08/04/n...

This is an astounding loss for the US if it comes to fruition. One of the biggest strategic losses the US has ever endured—perhaps biggest?—and all from a war the US chose to start for no reason, illegally.
Iran and Oman have reportedly agreed that all ships transiting Hormuz have to go through an Iran-controlled corridor, and are finalizing tolls of 3, 5, or 7%. This would close off the path outside Iranian waters the US encouraged ships to use during the MOU, then started bombing again to keep open.

Gill: All 100 senators last week passed a non-binding resolution condemning any pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell. They're simultaneously considering confirming the guy who met with her and moved her to a low-security facility as the top cop in the United States. That is so insane to me.

The following morning, Ukrainian long-range drones struck a major oil refinery in Salavat, Russia. These three events illustrate how warfare has changed - and the lesson for every democracy: survival cannot be outsourced to a single country or entrusted to a single company.
That same night, Russia launched eight ballistic missiles at Ukraine. Five were intercepted by Patriot systems. It was the first time in nearly two weeks that Ukraine had managed to shoot down Russian ballistic missiles, due to a critical shortage of interceptors.

ZELENSKYY: In total, during this July, all our units destroyed 30,272 Russians on the battlefield, mostly using drones. These are killed and wounded, and only those with clear video confirmation. So the trend on the front is unchanged and Ukraine will soon have even more drones.
