I have had it with this. There was a NOTAM that the GPS jamming activities were taking place in the area. Pilots must check NOTAMs prior to departure, especially commercial pilots. It is part of the damn job. If you need GPS to fly then reconsider your career choices.

@originalsp.in is always worth reading and this is especially good. It neatly draws together many of the themes I was grasping at when I saw the movie, and weaves them into a great, thoughtful reflection on the timeliness of this adaptation.

Reportedly, much of the vandalism of Flock cameras has been due to thieves recovering the 2-3 lbs of copper and 1-2 grams of gold in each unit. It’s very distressing that people vandalize these cameras to retrieve 2-3 lbs of copper and 1-2 grams of gold.
