The Lindsay Clancy case is so fucking sad. We'll never know exactly what happened in that house, or what was going on in her mind but clearly nothing good. And people acting like going to the psych hospital forever is a vacation need to update their priors.
This just might be the most psychotic act of sexual harassment I’ve ever seen. Not the worst per se, or most menacing but in terms of sheer insanity it’s really up there.

Being able to medically transition is only possible because of that evil soulless modernity.
Synthesized hormones have only existed for 100 years and are only able to be produced at scale do to industrialized chemistry. Any movement against modernity and pharmaceuticals is going to be inherently hostile to trans people's healthcare no matter how queer and counterculture you paint them as.
I bought my (used with <30,000 miles) for 10k less than this car. Its got leather seats, power mirrors, AC, climate control for the back seat, programmable drivers seat, Bluetooth, apple carplay/android auto, wireless phone charging. And its electric and I plug my car in at home and it charges.
Sky Marchini@sky.skymarchini.net · yesterdayalso, cheap stuff has actually gotten way better quality now. this is a 1985 chevy cavalier. 88hp engine (although it was fuel injected!), and basically no creature comforts [a/c was an option, same with an FM radio]. it would last you maybe 100k miles. It cost the equivalent of $27,000 today.

A lot of people I follow here are failing to listen to disabled people about issues that impact disabled people. MAHA's central contention is that being disabled is the fault of the person who is disabled. I can't be in a party where "ADHD is made up" is considered valid, since I have severe ADHD.
