if you are any kind of creative or artist or writer you *have* to understand sex workers and porn/erotica artists/authors as being members of the same class as us. to the extent society recognizes a difference between "legitimate" art and porn, it's only as a tenuous, convenient, temporary fiction.

Minnesota's economy has been in a very "lead the clean energy revolution in America or die trying" mood. I see it everywhere. I should be happier than I am about it. Problem is the rest of the nation's problems really suck the joy outta that.

Don’t hesitate to come to the polls; DOJ monitors will be outside the 100-foot zone, you don’t have to talk, you also don’t have to freak out, if you see them talking to anyone before they vote (they can only do so after) or engaging otherwise, tell the precinct head judge. We’re trained to help.
