Introducing a 'new' 'written' constitution is an incredibly high risk manoeuvre with almost no actual upside. It weakens the longstanding norms you actually rely upon just when you need them most. Tho tbh I think it's vanishingly unlikely to be done so I'm not all that worried.

Bath has corrected the post now to reflect a video of the interview which shows prof arday did not suggest he had joined a professional snooker tour. How an interview where he said he wasn't good enough to be professional was transcribed as Arday saying he joined a pro tour is a hell of an error.

Others can comment on plagiarism and Prof Arday but I note one oddity about snooker in his bio. In an interview when at Bath blogs.bath.ac.uk/vice-preside... he said he had joined a professional snooker tour. Jason Arday played in the English amateur championship in 2002. He lost 4 0 in the 1st rd

You can't force kids to major in engineering. Lots of those immigrant engineers have traditionally been Chinese. Manufacturing economies are ecosystems. You can't make a couple of policy changes and suddenly have one.
