there are definitely downsides to the nuclear block but the reason I keep coming back to it as necessary and good is that it completely ruined the whole MAGA engagement model to the point that they prefer to mock us from the nazi bar rather than come here to troll us directly

Rewatching MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE and I’d forgotten how fun and exciting it is. The way it recontextualizes the toys and cartoons is brilliant, and reminds me of how I SAW THE TV GLOW engages with nostalgia.

Because they still see cats as human accessories, and not as sentient creatures with their own intrinsic value, and the same fundamental drive to live by their own leave as we do. Lift the veil. Be awed by their true beauty.

18. Devo were an art project first and a rock band second. It's hard to really judge the output of a band that tells you upfront that it's all downhill from here. A real heads we win, tails you lose situation.
