I almost forgot, the other reason I call for an appointment is that you can't schedule online more than six months in advance, and my PCP is booked for annual physicals 7 or 8 months out.

I always call for an appointment even though, ideally, I’d just as soon make it online. Because when I call they always have appointment times that aren’t available in MyChart.
