Good morning, I'm happy to announce the release of Fidget 0.5.0! The big new feature in this release is a WGPU backend for fast 3D rasterization. In places where you can't run a JIT compiler (cough web browers cough), this gives an alternate path for interactive rendering speeds on complex models!

So the LLM slopcode occupies a similar position to the place "code written by scientists" does now. The pessimistic vision is that a lot of software engineers just spit out slop as fast as they can, continuing the industry's bad habit of trading rigor for velocity to an excessive degree.

The reason a freakish organization like PSL is able to get credibility with people protesting war or genocide is because they're organized and their members actually show up and take risks. If a liberal or socialist org isn't willing to do that, why should the people taking risks listen to them?

This is a fundamentally dishonest response to someone expecting you to actually show up for the anti-war movement you want leadership of.
