Students at St Vincent created "chemistrees" and I thought if my cat went at it, broke beakers (you have to use real chemicals for a legit Chemistree) and the mixture covering Rocky would give him super powers that would eventually turn me into a pet and I don’t think that’s a good idea.

i love that blur wrote the woohoo song to make fun of american grunge rock and americans were like "wow this slaps" and then continued ignoring blur
I watched this live on mtv and it showed me how quickly music shifted. As much as I loved Pink Floyd, Boston, AC/DC, etc, the grunge scene catapulted music into an era of deep emotion which, I didn’t realize until then, was so badly needed.
