They are obviously unlikely to sweep all of these unless we start seeing a D+15 generic ballot (please please please), but if the DCCC protected all its frontline incumbents and swept all of its targets, we'd be looking at 267 seats.

Leaving aside my personal distaste: I wish it were possible to have a more intellectually honest debate about how Democrats should approach the basic reality of ‘there are a ton of cranks in the electorate’ which didn’t get bogged down immediately in factionalism and parasocial shit
Some people think we need to triangulate and moderate ideologically to appeal to the maximum number of voters. Others think we need dynamic, exciting candidates who can galvanize new support outside of traditional demographics. Personally, I think we're all sinners in the hands of an angry God.
