Listening to Pierre Poilievre's pre-caucus retreat press conference, it's like he's giving his April 2025 election pitch. It's ... astonishing. Barely a nod to the current political conversation, and only to poke at Carney for going to Europe.

I know what he's saying but extremely funny to say this about a country that was created as "British North America", didn't have its own foreign policy until the 1930s, judicial supremacy rested in London until after WWII, and couldn't amend its own constitution into my lifetime.
