So we’re about an hour into the official city sweep of the Pig’s Eye/Fish Hatchery encampment. A couple of entrances are barricaded with mostly wood pallets, which has prevented city workers from moving in machinery to clear the camp. This has allowed camp residents to move themselves out.

I’m here at the Fish Hatchery encampment in St. Paul as the city prepares to sweep the camp. St. Paul cops are stopping cars coming in but there are dozens of people that have gathered here in anticipation of the sweep in order to help camp residents and document what the city does here today.

Just got a report of a scam solicitation w/ contact info harvested from copyright registration lists. The work is unpublished & not mentioned anywhere else; registration included author's cell #, so solicitation was via SMS. Just a reminder that any contact info on a registration is public record.

The HWA has apologized for the AI article and specifically apologized for the inclusion of Indigenous water rights struggles in the AI column, and removed the newsletter writer from their board position. I’m deeply appreciative of the apology and of all who expressed solidarity in my post about it.
