Well, those are the last words on the first draft of my first ever novel. I started writing it 3 years ago, when much more unwell, but frustrated enough & bored enough to need a creative outlet. As always with these things, it feels quietly anticlimactic, so I’m marking it because I feel I need to
Trying to make a martyr of a wife beating nonce just because he hilariously burped the theme from Rainbow at the speccy garden party or whatever is very funny, I hope they keep it up, the pathetic dv enablers
Some really eye watering stuff in here: Also worth noting paedophile convictions along *everything else*. I haven’t seen anyone reference that
It's worth reading the sentencing remarks the judge made about Joshua Bonehill-Paine, a man who is now a Conservative candidate for Somerset Council. www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/u...
Bede's World! Bede's World! Party time! Venerable!
When you’ve gone too far Right for the aboard of Deputies: hoo boy you fucked up
Badenoch represents double-down conservatism. Never apologise or moderate. Insult your opponents. Patronise journalists when challenged. Contradict yourself, lie, whatever it takes, but never back down. And that's how you end up creating an extremely avoidable Tory antisemitism scandal overnight
Median UK voter in 2026, as predicted by Hugh Laurie some decades ago:
Oscar Hammerstein had a terrific 1943, with Oklahoma! opening in March and Carmen Jones opening in December. Finding himself the toast of Broadway again after a long string of failures, he took out a self-deprecating ad in the January 5, 1944 issue of Variety listing his flops. An absolute legend.
there are two types of fans of things- those who treat it like a hobby and understand it's ok to laugh at things you enjoy and those who use it to replace church or whatever in their lives and are very vigilant against Blasphemy
“Not everything should be a musical” shut up man, one of the greatest musicals of all time is about the rise of Nazis seen via a seedy club.
Sorry Lucy but the Matthews, Peters, Johns, Williams, Christophers and Samuels all want you to fuck off somewhere else
The Mohammeds, Khans, Patels, Singhs, Adebayos and Babatundes didn’t go looking for Britain….Britain went looking for them, imposed its language and, in many places, its religion, while extracting wealth and resources from their countries. History has consequences.
Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.
if rod liddle was personally very charming and kind to you it’s because he recognised you as a fellow cunt
i'd say "pay attention to who has kind things to say about rod liddle, the racist pedophile, following his death" but to no surprise it is the entirety of the mainstream british press
As far as I’m aware this applies to every western country in the diaspora. Communal orgs have cried AS wolf when they should have united in condemning 🇮🇱 war crimes and their remaining credibility is spent. shit like this will run and run
There is rising actual antisemitism and conspiracism surrounding the state of Israel and its place in global affairs. And the organizations that should exist to call that out are wasting all of their credibility refusing to distinguish conspiracies from accurate descriptions of Israeli war crimes.
Stop talking about Nigel Farage and start talking about how compere, performer and drag king Mojo Jones has a new act called C*nty Binface 🗑️💖
guide to world domination: 1. defund all major humanities departments 2. fund masses of public and priv money into AI 3. ensure said machines are controlled by the 1% 4. spread bollocks across the internet with future generations incapable of critical thinking 5. do whatever you like
“Quitting the job he never did, for people he never liked, in a town he is never in, he calls a by-election for the ages. Can he vindicate himself by defeating a man with a bin on his head?” @mrhenrymorris.substack.com envisages… BBC will probably follow www.thenewworld.co.uk/henry-morris...
Farage The Movie: The world’s most persecuted man
Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the European Union… it’s the feel-bad movie of the summer!

Funny how national governments consider that the sale of golden passports to dodgy rich people is a strictly national competence, but regularizing migrants who are working for a living is not.
Twenty-two EU leaders have raised “serious concern” that Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s migration policies are undermining the security of the bloc’s borders.
Today we observe Porajmos (Roma Holocaust) Remembrance Day. on the night of 2–3 August 1944, 2,897 Roma were murdered at the Zigeunerfamilienlager at Auschwitz-Birkenau. We remember them and the half a million Sinti and Roma murdered by Nazi Germany and fascist collaborators. Na Bistaren.
Kings were made a foot shorter for less
Nothing quite encompasses the rancid stench of English neoliberalism like having to sit on the floor because the 3-hour train journey you’ve paid over £200 for has been oversold, and the guard reminding those who have no seats that, despite first class being empty, you will be fined if you sit there

airbnb I’m staying at unintentionally created the toughest punk album cover of 2027
My hot take is that competition is fine, we’re just competitive about the wrong things. I’d prefer a world where instead of concerning ourselves with who has the most wealth that we focused on who could freely provide the most and best healthcare, education, housing, and inclusivity.
The Republican Party has gone full mask-off Nazi; meanwhile the media narrative being pushed 24/7 is “ahhh! Democrats are being taken over by socialist radicals!!” and their terrifying examples are Miss Rachel, a doctor who wants you to have healthcare, and the friendliest mayor in American history.
Party that spent the last decade grooming and funding and encouraging blind nazi ideologues to run for office and government positions : uh oh
Deeply concerning. Exeter University one of many in the UK firing many faculty, especially in the humanities. It’s not only the impact on the faculty and students in often-popular programs. We are dismantling knowledge structures that took dozens— even hundreds of years to build.
So a whole lot of my talented Humanities colleagues are now unemployed as of today. A lot of understandable concern over Exeter. But for over two decades my Hums colleagues were in the top quartile for their research contribution to society. History top 10. Now gone with only a national whisper.
