Does anyone work in museum interpretation? How's it been affected by social media and short-form content basically rewiring our brains? Are labels still in? Do we need to radically rethink things? I'm thinking of writing something.

this fatigue/overstretching is exactly what is happening in classrooms around the world, but administrators, Big Tech, and politicians are apparently fine with large scale mis-uses of gAI to read, write and think instead of actual learning because...reasons, I guess

Made a site where you can practise Old English scansion. You get given a half-line and have to select which of Sievers's five types it belongs to. Just Beowulf for now, but that's 6364 half-lines to be getting on with: dgplacenames.github.io/scansion/ [Data: clasp.ell.ox.ac.uk/]
Given that Rome often overshadows Greece and Latinization is so frequent, it’s only fair we try to give exact transliterations when rendering Greek names. As they say, an ai for an ae.
Honestly, since it's something actually useful, I'm surprised Google hadn't discontinued the desktop version of GoogleEarth ages ago. Also, the online version is shit. I use the GE desktop constantly for tasks that don't require firing up a full blown GIS program.
