Absolutely saddened by and for the children's teacher who yesterday told me that she doesn't believe children know or feel their gender or sexuality until their twenties because she felt like a boy and found no men or boys attractive, then with steps missing, learned she was wrong.

Spider-Man is the superhero for the little guy (which is why he's never been a good fit on the Avengers, which veer between being pseudogovernmental authority or corporate-sponsored vigilantes). His job needs to be one where you do good from the bottom up, not the top down.
