Last night, the U.S. House approved CORCA, a bill that would dramatically expand DHS power, authorizing sweeping access to personal data without meaningful safeguards, adequate oversight, or accountability mechanisms.

Well, they've finally struck home. #ICE has detained my former #umich student, Yousif Azizi, a PhD student in public policy at Virginia Tech w/a valid visa. He was arrested while taking his children to school in Maryland. After multiple transfers, he is in a detention center in Arizona.
