just said this on another post but it bears repeating: the thing about continuing to give money to any jk rowling properties or the nyt is not that they’re shitty about trans people, which they are. it is that both of these entities MATERIALLY CONTRIBUTE to the legal challenges to trans rights

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

Shadows draw upon the lowly parts as if they were the artist and not whichever light source was kind enough to share its labor. I wonder how much of art in luminosity and how much of it is fear. Adam Gianforcaro, "As Above, So Below"

If you are demanding people not even criticize the clubby sort of whitewashing of a warmongering petty monster devoted to installing a dictatorship in America, you are holding regular people to a moral standard Lindsey Graham never cleared a single day of his life.

every lecture about respecting the dead in the wake of Graham's (or McConnell's presumed upcoming) death from the mainstream media should be taken as what it is: a declaration that they respect power more than they respect our democracy or constitution and that they will collaborate in enslaving us

Lindsey Graham used his power as a US Senator in an attempt to overthrow a legitimate election, all in favor of an authoritarian pedophile. He literally called the GA Secretary of State in an effort to change the certified results. His heart attack should have occurred in a prison cell, not at home.
