Since no one else seems interested in bringing the report from Lou Raguse (KARE) over, there are additional allegations against Mayor Kaohly Her that she "commented on the breasts" of an SPPD deputy chief in a locker room and then "asked her opinion of the Mayor's own breasts."

As someone who has experienced sexual harassment multiple times at diff jobs…it never feels funny when you are the subject of jokes/comments. It’s hard to speak up about what happened to you precisely bc people might find it funny. Being harassed isn’t fun. It’s a violation. Let’s remember that.

Electing city delegates at caucuses helps drive turnout to caucuses in every ward across the city and gives every resident a chance to at least weigh in on who gets sent forward from their precinct to the city convention. 2/

In about 3 weeks, delegates to the Minneapolis DFL Convention will gather to endorse school board candidates and elect party officers, including a new Chair. I am excited to announce that I am running to be the next Chair of the Minneapolis DFL. 🧵

If he's going to get a national profile on the strength of a younger woman's campaign, I'm going to come out and say it: during his short-lived tenure as a math professor, Biss had an inappropriate romantic relationship with one of his undergraduate students. I was that student.

The push for generational change in the Democratic Party faces a test in a Chicago-area congressional district, where the top candidates span three generations: from Gen X and millennials to Gen Z. n.pr/3PD5bZ6

Tear gas is filling the air on Nicollet and folks are ducking behind cars to avoid projectiles being fired and thrown by ICE. PLEASE stay out of the area if you have any respiratory illnesses or are pregnant. Also note there are hundreds more agents in other cities/areas. Stay vigilant on RR.

It doesn’t matter if your response is fight, flight or fawn. They still want to kill you. It feels so delusional to tell people to stay safe. It’s a prayer, not an actual ask anymore.

ICE just shot another one of my neighbors. They had the person on the ground, being beaten by several agents, and then fired multiple shots. In front of the donut shop where we like to get donuts for our kids.

Initial report is that two observers got into a shoving match with eight agents, one observer was wrestled to the ground, and then an ICE agent pulled out a sidearm and shot the man on the ground five times.

ICE just indiscriminately stopped a citizen at a bus stop in front of the co-op. If this is how they treat the President of the Minneapolis City Council who is legally observing, just think of what they’re doing to everyone else in our City.

From a lawyer friend: if someone has been detained by the feds and taken to the Whipple, they are being released as a matter of course IF they assert their 5th Amendment rights and an attorney shows up for them

I've interviewed three witnesses who said they saw an ICE agent shoot and kill motorist in Minneapolis who was observing. We also have video. All witnesses vociferously deny that the woman shot and killed presented a threat to agents. They say she was trying to leave. Homeland Security tweet below:

I don't gotta hand shit to Jacob. They're still here and he was missing yesterday when shit started popping off. He showed up when someone died. This ain't his first rodeo doing this. Be fucking better. "oooh, he gave a speech and swore." So brave. A woman died. His resident's are being disappeared

Remember a few weeks ago when people all over the country were praising MPD Chief for saying mean things about ICE? Yeah that same man is letting ICE mace & shoot people who are protesting & showing up as legal observers. The perimeter is there to protect ICE, not the people of Minneapolis.
