I'm preparing to attend the Taiwan Lunar Symposium in a couple weeks - so excited to visit this amazing place and share some Artemis joy! Have you been to Taiwan? I'd love your recommendations!

Rocks are like time capsules. They reveal ancient life and climates. They’ll help us fight climate change. They record the birth, life, and death of continents. They give us a framework for understanding lithosphere-biosphere dynamics at a global-scale. They’re ace, frankly [2/2]

Roadtrip complete ✅ After departing @NASAStennis, the fourth and final RS-25 engine for @NASA's SLS rocket has arrived in Florida. Now reunited with the other Artemis III engines, the powerful quartet is almost ready for installation at @NASAKennedy.

Artemis III will test experimental spacecraft - so we went back to school for a week of high intensity course, flying test aircraft to ‘freshen up’ our skills. Many thanks to a fantastic team of instructors for the incredible week.

Shared those articles that show how people are fighting locally and federally in support of trans people because social media flattens and also makes it seem like folks aren't actually actively pushing back when in fact people (led by trans people themselves) are in motion everywhere.

So embarrassing to watch “progressives” being manipulated into transphobia on an issue that affects about a dozen people in the fucking country. Conservatives needed a wedge issue after Roe and so many Democrats and liberals fell for it. Just disgraceful.

What do you do after you've been to the Moon and back? For the #ArtemisII astronauts, it means public speaking until the heat death of the universe. Oh, and training the Artemis III crew. I took a look at post-spaceflight astronaut careers for @nature.com (free to read, just provide your email)🧪🛰️

Here’s what’s next for the Artemis II astronauts

Newfound fame has proved to be stellar for some astronauts but harder for others. Will NASA’s popular crew need some space?

With all the wildfires in Canada raging, it’s worth mentioning NOAA had a satellite air pollution sensor canceled. Would’ve been on the GeoXO satellites and provided continuous, real time, location based air quality. Estimated public health benefit from prevented of around $13B.

I get that some people don't understand this. Maybe they think the chat function is a legitimate summary of actual websites. But lots of us have been yelling about this for *years* now! The information about how unreliable, thieving, and damaging to the environment is available! Don't. Use. "AI".

Class, repeat after me: "AI" is not a search engine. "AI" does not search webpages and return results. "AI" scrapes together random shavings from the internet and presents them as though they're answers. If you use "AI" as a search engine, you're better off consulting your own rectum with a mirror.
