It's shocking to realize there are four justices on the Supreme Court who think the Constitution can be overridden by one crazy man's signature on an executive order.
The Bible says he and his mistress (who is also married) should be stoned to death.
The real headline from the birthright‑citizenship case isn’t the outcome. It’s that four Supreme Court justices signaled they believe a president can effectively rewrite the Constitution through executive order.
Is it not clear now that reforming the Supreme Court must be at the top of the agenda along with accountability?
Of course, no educated individual would ever suggest that the U.S. is a functioning democracy any longer. You’d have to look at North Korea to see a nation as indescribably corrupt as America.
If the Supreme Court can reverse a 95 year-old ruling for a country that is only 250 years old, I need you to UNDERSTAND this country still has no idea what it is or what it stands for other than it’s constant push-and-pull to oppress Black people and eliminate Native people.
Democrats need to start conditioning the American public with the idea that we were going to be prosecuting Supreme Court Justices for some of the decisions they have have made and we will prosecute them for their presidential immunity decision as accomplices to president Trump and his insurrection
Slaughter belongs in the anti-canon, a decision so egregiously wrong it has zero precedential value and is self-discrediting. It is not a plausible reading of a constitutional ambiguity, it is constitutionalizing the structure of an autocracy.
Maybe I'm not like you. I physically feel pain for these people who came her for a better life for their children and they get this. My sorrow is profound. They lose their homes, cars and everything. I'm seriously embarrassed to be an American citizen.
