While the larger sidewalks are nice, it's obvious this is where the Broadway active transport lanes should be. The sidewalks will still be right beside loud, high speed traffic. Protected lanes = nice buffer. Also, get ready for hundreds of food delivery ebikes & scooters on these sidewalks.
Like so many parents, I'm worried about how our children will be protected from wildfire smoke and airborne illnesses while they are in school. This policy would help put our minds at ease!

What flavor of evil is that? People spend a considerable amount of time preparing their application files, checking all the right boxes. Do you think they'd have the curtesy to apply new rules to NEW applications with enough warning? If I was not settled with kid, I'd leave.
