If walking costs you $1, we all pay $0.01. If biking costs you $1, we all pay $0.08. If bussing costs you $1, we all pay $1.50. If driving costs you $1, we all pay $9.20. Via study that still underestimates climate cost. This isn’t about choice. It’s about who pays for your choice. #citymakingmath

There's an indicator species for evaluating the safety of your urban infrastructure, and it's not middle-aged men on bikes. It's women, seniors, and kids feeling safe enough to ride in their everyday clothes.

I joined NY’s Cutest on the Bergen Bike Bus that they ride to school every Wednesday, rain or shine. We’re adding bike boulevards and more pedestrian space on Bergen and Dean Street, from Court Street to East New York Ave. It was a wonderful kind of day.

I don't think I have ever seen the escalator going to Utrecht Centraal from the Smakelaarskade side of the station work. So imagine my surprise today when I walked around the corner and it was clean and in working order 😂

Today I visited an underrated museum in Utrecht. The Volksbuurt Museum (Neighbourhood Museum). It tells the story of Wijk C, an old working class neighbourhood in Utrecht, but it actually placed the entire city into context for me. It is a love letter to Utrecht. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!
