You have more in common with the people of Iran than you do with anyone in this administration, any member of the technocracy, anyone who is profiting from this war, or any billionaire. When you see Iranians forming human chains outside key infrastructure sites, you should feel a sense of kinship.

Every Republican member of the administration, every Republican member of congress, is complicit. They don’t get to do a tweet about the dignity of the Iranian people and get any credit for anything before during or after the fact. They can stop this now, and none of them are doing anything.

25th amendment. Impeachment. I will support any avenue to remove Donald Trump from office. We cannot leave this man in charge of America’s nuclear weapons as he threatens to end an entire civilization. And Congress must not fund this reckless administration.

I don't think this is the case, nor do I think this conclusion is anything other than what our opponents want us to draw. They don't have the people, but authoritarians do have the ability to build fear, and you have to fight that fear if you want to not become overwhelmed by the enemy.
