People keep trying to make this Dem schism about policy, because they think they can win it with catchy slogans. But it’s actually not about policy. It’s about whether or not you look at the GOP under MAGA with disgust or with envy.

If you obsessively look at policies and platforms as a to-do list, and ignore everything else, you are extremely easy to manipulate. Look at John Fetterman. Look at “anti-war” Donald Trump. The only inoculating force to grifters like this is to study their character. Can you trust their judgment?

I think Democrats like Cory Booker should take a hard look in the mirror and consider why Jeff Bezos loves their tax cut proposals so much. Billionaires would love to see a weak state with a gutted fiscal capacity.
