I will say, I think that 'humiliation' here isn't just a matter of psychology - it is functioning a strategic purpose. If you are Iran, you want to demonstrate that interventions like this are political suicide so that future presidents (or this one again) don't decide to try another time.

it really bears repeating over and over and over that the child who allegedly had her collarbone broken by her congressman dad is the granddaughter of SENATOR bernie moreno who has refused to stand up for her, or for his daughter who was allegedly abused, too. what a sick fuck.
None of us are required to pretend we're stupid. This is just the usual nasty human stuff; you've always had it and we'll have campaigns like this as long as there are campaigns. It's ugly; it's not shocking. I don't know who she is but she does not appear to be winning. That's all I got.
