This is the right thing to say and I wholeheartedly support it and believe it but it is frustrating and aggravating that he's been saying this for months and months and, like Mamdani, some people on here take this as a rhetorical pivot after the primary rather than just sincerity.

Meanwhile, her government recently put new grass in El Morro (despite warnings that it was a bad idea to do so during summer) and is using many water sprinklers to prevent the grass from drying up (it’s not working). But yeah, watering your houseplants is excessive, except when the gov does it!!

Pepsi is my timid little mouse who has never had an interest in human food. She seems to be mindful that she’s not a smol girl so she doesn’t climb on me beyond my lap on the couch. And she is very polite

So Abbey is my little dumpster cat. She has zero manners. Doesn’t understand personal space. And definitely doesn’t understand the concept of human food that’s not for her

White women of both parties need to care about this - even if only for selfish reasons because if this is successful, women are next. They're already talking about it. If we lose Black/Brown voters, Dems cannot gain power and women will lose their right to vote, too. And quickly.

Serving as Secretary of State means opening the door for everyone to experience Michigan to the fullest. My job is to respect Michiganders' time and make every interaction with state government efficient, accessible, and worthy of their trust.
