There a million things wrong with the EHRC guidance, as you all know, but for me the weirdest thing about it all is that its authors don't even seem to be aware of the possibility that someone asked to leave a "single sex" facility might refuse.

Oxford City Council is reminding residents and visitors to the city's open spaces in the current warm weather to dispose of their rubbish, particularly in Port Meadow. In recent years, two cows, including a seven-month-old calf, died after eating plastic bags, balloons and other discarded rubbish.

Aha! The Jackfruit! a mighty beast. However I do remember that as kids we thought it tasted the same way that rotten banana chewing gum smelt. Not A Fan.

The aftermath of the fire next to Port Meadow. Small compared with Suffolk (to which Oxfordshire has sent a fire engine and a team), but there are acres of nature reserve, and the railway to Birmingham and Worcester runs behind the camera.

I see Discourse is happening about Covid, lockdowns, school closures, etc etc. I pretend to no specific expertise and see little point in joining in the discussion as such except to say that the overwhelming thing I feel is distrust of a lot of the punditry (and of individual comments too).
