Critical Mass Halifax

@criticalmasshfx.bsky.social

An informal, leaderless bike ride that meets on the last Friday of every month, in cities around the world, including Halifax, NS, Canada. https://linktr.ee/criticalmass.halifax

What if instead of spending $726,000 for a bike route people would use we spend $451,000 on a bike route no one will use. We can waste $451,000 but make it seem like we're saving $275,000 because council wouldn't recognize good fiscal decision making if it ran them over in an unprotected bike lane.

A whole miniature city for tiny cyclist. 🥹 C'est tellement mignon et franchement émouvant. Non seulement une ville sans enfants n'en est pas une, mais c'est à leur hauteur qu'on devrait penser nos espaces et lieux de vie.

I hope that if you’ve ever been curious about these rides, you’ll join us for one near you in our 2027 season. Because they’re designed for kids, they also make excellent rides for adults who are a bit nervous about cycling in the city. Kidical Mass is for everyone! /2fin.

Kidical Mass Halifax

🚲🦽🚶🏼‍♂️🛴🚍🚑🚒🚛 Morris St cycling connection public engagement: I did this survey last night. It is quite complex. Please take some time to read and have your say. There is a lot of free form text entry opportunities. Attend in person on the 29th if you like. Please share.
