The @ridealso.bsky.social company continues to market their device as a Class 3 ebike w a top speed of 28 mph, but this is inaccurate for CA. There’s no mechanical connection btwn the pedals & drive train, so the motor always exclusively propels the device. It is legally not a Class 1 or Class 3.
