Good morning Bluesky ☀️ My grandad told me he saw the Titanic - from the outset he warned all the people that the ship would sink, but nobody listened to him. He knew he was right and didn't give up. He warned them again & again, until eventually they kicked him out of the cinema.
After a year of planning and a resounding success of a wedding, Pepper Potts told me “you can rest now” and my body has crashed, HARD. Zero to full cold (raspy sore throat, runny nose, sneezing and fatigue) in the space of a few hours. If anyone needs me…just wait longer.

I’m tipsy and getting married in the morning and I’ve never been this happy in my whole life ❤️

And there it is. Stupid plan is dead. Hopefully Infantino’s presidency goes the same way. Corrupt little fuck. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

Sorry, you can literally break into Netflix offices and steal a movie??? The meme has come full circle
Fortitude, a $45m thriller starring Nicolas Cage and from the director of Con Air, has been stolen from Netflix's offices. Now its producer is suing the streamer for $105m. filmstories.co.uk/news/netflix...
I’ve just realised this means that FIFA is so awful, they managed to get Russia and Ukraine to agree on something. I can just imagine that phone call from UEFA to Moscow: “Look, you’re still banned for being a bunch of warmongering fuckheads, but we can count on your support right?”
The vote was 55-0.
Can't be the first to say this, but (and yay UEFA - brilliant) this works equally well if you swap out "football" for maybe "water" or "a stable climate". Look at me being the revolutionary socialist. "No one has the moral authority to sell what they merely hold in trust for the next generation."
police have arrested a man for failing to update his PDF reader, he is described as mid 30s, brown hair and has no fixed adobe
I sincerely think I could responsibly use the Death Note. Honestly and truly. However, the Brown Note – the book that makes people shit themselves uncontrollably if their name is written in its pages – would turn me into a tyrant within a fraction of a second.
There's a new Viz in the shops (issue 358). Sorry no refunds.
It’s so weird that it turns out that apparently we all were desperate for epic, long films about powerful heroes drawn from mythic archetypes, because that’s what’s been the biggest box office draw for fifteen years now but everyone said they were sick of it and it was all finished.

I once again will hop on my soapbox - be more precise with our language around AI. Machine learning has a lot of good and even great applications. And you don't have to burn down the planet to run them. In fact, some cases even save on computational power (looking at you, weather models).
You know what this ISN'T? An LLM. Once more for the folks in the back: nearly all of the actually useful, genuinely promising things that AI can do for us have nothing to do with LLMs & planet-devouring data centers. Hope, not hype. Serving us, not serving us up to Big Tech. @sciam.bsky.social
Today experienced the 24th day of year hitting 30C in London. For perspective in whole of 1980s we had 21 days.
