Chemist, pretend cyclist, wine lover, air guitarist, Dad and Grampa. Not necessarily in that order. Opinions mine.

This is the part that boils my blood: "I'm not against cyclists. I'm not against bike paths or walking paths. But let's make sure they're done thoughtfully and at the best expense of the taxpayers' dollars." I'm sick to death of that rhetoric... www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

I keep meeting smart informed Albertans who tell me they do not intend to vote, because they don’t want to legitimize the process, or because they know the premier is not bound by the results. But what if making us give up on voting is the whole point? My argument to vote - no matter the absurdity.

YES to Canada 🇨🇦, reason, and compassion❗ NO to the 9❗ As the (ridiculous) Alberta referendum nears, let's keep the message simple. VOTE❗ Much of the motivation for referendum based on xenophobic and regressive BS. My take 👉 thewalrus.ca/albertas-sep... cc @senatorpaulasimons.bsky.social
