I have a great deal of contempt for AIPAC but they do not have the power to "steal" an election. Stuffing ballot boxes, changing vote totals, that's election stealing. Convincing people to vote for a candidate via ads and outreach is just an election. The distinction matters

One of the best examples of this is CS Lewis' Screwtape Letters, where the narrator, a demon attempting to advise another in the plan to damn a soul, is very clearly not trying to help recruit the "patient," he's trying to help soften him up for a meal when he arrives in his damnation.
Silent Hill is not a moral authority. It's a sadist that recognizes that people who feel they did something morally wrong make funny noises when you poke them in the guilty conscience. Any overlap with an actual moral judgment is coincidental.
Galaxy brain, this common perception in horror and elsewhere evolves from expanding secularism specifically. It attempts to replace divine judgment with monstrous judgment, but refuses to account for moral judgment as weapon, the appearance of justice as justification for sadistic harm.

I saved this cartoon cause it was such a perfect example.
I can simplify this. People believe the stories about the world they like. They disdain and despise the ones they don't. Giving them new, better stories to believe is the work of politics.
