Speaking as someone who was there in the early 2000s, blogs weren't slop. Some of them were CRAP, but it was all HUMAN-MADE. The equivalent of "A.i." slop back then was the SPAM in blog COMMENTS. That was industrialized, automated, scammy bullshit -- just like generative "A.i." now.

One of the biggest struggles I've had since being diagnosed with Bipolar II is that I never know if 'this' is ME and my actual personality or my disorder swinging too far towards manic. Meds have the pendulum swinging in a smaller area, but it's still a larger mood range than 'normal'.
They settled to prevent having to give the government patient records. That's why this shit is so dangerous. There's no winning for patients. Either the hospital settles & you loose access to lifesaving care OR the hospital fights & the gov gets medical records and can target patients directly.
