I am confident in one thing: the outpouring of support Stop Caring and myself have received in the last few days have made it clear the publiction will continue, hopefully for many more years. Worse comes to shove, we WILL make something work. Now's a great time to support: www.stopcar.ing

Honestly a serious proposal for AI regulation would be something like: 1. ban on new gas turbines or other onsite fossil generation. 2. moratorium on new GPU capacity in data centers 3. severe privacy protections, with auditing requirements, for SaaS consumer products 4. ban on chatbot interfaces

every morning when you look at the weather it says tomorrow will be colder and it will finally rain then in the evening when you check again it’s like just kidding! but the day after will be colder and it will finally rain

hello bluesky! bullet points just published my piece about marathon, zone fiction, yuri of absence, and being a hopeless romantic -- essentially a tribute to one of the closest and most important friendships in my life. it would mean a lot to me if you read it 🤤 (sorry in advance for the length)

"if marathon offers anything to say about the human condition, i don't think it's to be found in the cutthroat attitude players adopt with one another ... yet i feel like i've grown to understand people more by playing it." @goosepimple.moe on Marathon, up now bulletpointsmonthly.com/2026/05/20/w...

"This time, the moral panic isn’t coming from older generations—in fact, kids are turned off by the way AI is being pushed on them by adults and tech corporations. They’re also, Green says, 'acutely aware that whatever disruption happens, their generation is going to be bearing the brunt of it.'"

Some Kids Will Never Think AI Is Cool

“I think it should stand for ‘artificial idiot,’” one 9-year-old says. Here’s why kids of all ages are calling AI “disgusting” and “creepy.”

Drawing a picture of Hideo Kojima hanging out with 5 sigourney weavers, 5 different ages of her life, on the wall of my cell with a pen I made from an ink refill canister and a fragment of a plastic spoon, until the attendants bust in and take it away from me and make me wash the wall, all the walls

tried to read as few as possible about the discourse around this game before reviewing it but it's not my fault all my favorite writers wrote very good pieces so I couldn't resist addressing some of that stuff here

For all the talk around Mixtape the last few days, it kinda feels like there's been frustratingly little talk *about* Mixtape. @tomeitou.bsky.social tries to separate the static noise from his in their review. www.startmenu.co.uk/home/review-...

i also think that any argument about Marathon 2026 should attempt to wrestle with this being a game built on layoffs, stolen art assets, and a director who was fired halfway through production due to sexual harassment reports. it is a product of what is supposedly being satirizing.
