Why the hell would you post AI garbage “art” of Dolly when there are thousands of amazing real images of her? This one, for instance, is just perfection.

My social feeds have been inundated with various stories about her, any one of which could be the source of a 500 page biopic. Even if you're not a fan of her music, you can't deny that she was an absolute pinnacle of a good human being.

We've decided 9-25 is Dolly's day. We have a month to prepare, and to make this a National if not Global celebration of the best of humanity. Repeat, share, and prepare! Organize a block-party, write a poem, buy some books, sing some music...come together and be good to each other for a day!

Another migraine is hitting. And I desperately need to shower (had to put off because of migraines). Sumatriptan is only doing so much, and may need to and get seen about it. They last for hours at best, if not all day. I’m sick of wearing sun glasses constantly and lying in the dark.

This is nice. RIP Dolly... what a life well lived. It's hard to mourn in these cases versus celebrate endlessly forever... but yeah, too young, even at 80. She was a cherished legend and American Treasure.

Dolly Parton with Keith Haring in 1985, incredible woman and supporter of LGBTQ people for decades going back to a time when few others dared.

The world lost the closest thing we had to a real-life angel today. She may not physically be among us anymore, but she'll live on--through her music, and and her efforts to help humanity. Hopefully, we'll learn by example with our own deeds and actions. Rest easy, Dolly. You did good.

When my daughter was small, I was in very bad financial shape. We had library books, of course, but those monthly Imagination Library books were a lifesaver for my incredibly smart little girl. She used to call them Auntie Dolly books and hugged the photo on the inside of the cover.

This is the one that broke me, right here.

If you know The Orville and the story thread with The Moclans, Dolly's guest spot on there is one of the most inspirational moments in modern SciFi..ll and she just had to be herself
