There is a direct line from Newsom and Buttigieg running around the country a year ago saying "we have some concerns about trans people" to Democrats openly using anti-trans slurs in campaign ads today. It's why we pushed back so hard then. We knew where it would lead. And we know where this goes.

A publishing contract is just that—a negotiated deal between parties that should honor the rights of *both* authors and publishers. But a contract that’s unfair to authors ultimately hurts publishers too. A publisher who tries to grab too many rights ultimately ends up with none, and rightly so.

#Octember In #TFTNG, Acanthus' wouldn't be a constellation but a nebula. The rose nebula. Cypress' would be a howling wolf head. In #s3, Rebecca's would be a coffee mug. In #YP, Phoebe's would be the little dipper/ursa minor, because she's a navigator in the north/relies on Polaris for direction.

I couldn't resist this #Octember q, since stars are critical in No Sky Like Midnight. Existing constellations: Leo is Ophiuchus despite his name (he bears the serpent), & Paige is Cygnus (she's an ugly duckling). Invented: The Fiery Snake for Leo & The Mink for Paige. #WriteSky #WritingCommunity
