Like if it turned out the strongest form of Platonic realism about moral Goodness was true and there was an objective Form of the Good from which flowed precise instructions about the good life... I would not care, I would not consider that any sort of reason for me to change my behaviour at all.
A simple point that surprisingly few people understand: "The longer we wait to reach net zero, the higher the eventual peak temperature will be, and the worse the associated damage. Warming is now nearly 1.4C above pre-industrial levels. Imagine summers when it gets closer to 2C."
