This is a good analysis of what society is rapidly becoming/has become. The only thing I would add to it is that a lot of the online toxicity and especially the culture of dunking and dogpilling traces back to subcultural sites like SA and 4chan.

One time, while teaching self defense, a martial arts instructor told me "This isn't a sport, fuck the rules." I do occasionally apply that saying to other parts of my life. Also learned first hand that, when you're in crisis mode, cut every corner you can.
