I have, with my own eyes, watched my tax dollars in the form of missiles as they hit buildings inhabited by civilians. I'd much prefer subsidizing a grocery story I don't use.

a university is not for generating profit, it provides cultural enrichment via weird little gremlin people who love visigoths or haikus, and very occasionally a scientist who figures out faster than light travel

Dave Gilbert@wadjeteyegames.com · 2w agoFound this gate in York. It had a standard lock, plus a padlock and a chain holding it shut. It was very very securely closed. The only thing on the other side is a blank wall. The only conclusion I can make is that this is a magic portal to hell.
