"Several people who work for clinics or businesses selling peptides are on the [FDA advisory] panel." Seems like a pretty glaring conflict of interest, but those are quaint these days, aren't they? www.bbc.com/news/article...

FDA panel votes to loosen restrictions for controversial peptides

The vote marks a win for Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy who has said he's a big fan of the drugs, which haven't been well studied for human use.

Funny how after every SCOTUS ruling striking down some protection from government abuse, the officials those protections restrained — cops, prosecutors, Republican state electeds — immediately start acting in the precise manner SCOTUS assured us they no longer do.

Red states can cancel elections and redraw the maps to cut out Black representation without any voter input, and no one stops them. Blue state asks the voters if they wanna redistrict, the voters say yes, and the court strikes it down.

Every week I see a post like “well, Silicon Valley has built a dick-breaking machine. No matter how you feel about getting your dick broken, it’s our responsibility to integrate mechanical dick-breaking into our schools.”

It's not a new observation, but I'm always struck listening to Trump cry and whine about how he's the victim, bitch and moan about how mean and unfair everyone is to him, brag endlessly about how great he is and how unfair it all is, to remember that his cult thinks he's the Peak Alpha Male

I refuse to give that greedheaded libertarian space in my head as a hero. But the sonofabitch has been consistent on extrajudicial killings by presidents since al-Awlaki and if he keeps this up, I going to be really pissed off at whatever measure of grudging respect I'll have to supply.

Rand Paul tells me that he wants the full video of the Venezuelan boat strike released. “And I think if the public sees images of people clinging to boat debris and being blown up, I think that there is a chance that finally, the public will get interested enough in this to stop this.”
