I haven’t seen a single piece about how the President needs to moderate to get closer to American voters. They cover him like he’s a hurricane others have to react to, but they’re also constantly downplaying the damage and assigning positive motivations to the hurricane.

If the lesson we take from this election is that it was all about affordability or Iran we lie to ourselves. 1. It was about voting rights 2. It was about corruption 3. It was about multiracial democracy 4. It was about money in politics 5. It was about ICE 6. It was about decency and norms

In the AP Voter Poll, "government corruption" was cited more often than "cost of living" by voters as a crucial reason for their vote. People know our economy is filled with legalized scams that funnel wealth upwards. If Dems don't make a big show of attacking those things, voters will punish them.

When Cindy Hyde Smith blocked Scott Colom's judicial nomination she said it was because he wanted to defend transgender people, and she ran an ad with this, hundreds of times a day, in every media. So watching her be slowly forced to eat shit under a national spotlight? It's kinda nice.

Last year, Hegseth abruptly removed Nancy Lacore from command. No public explanation was provided. Afterwards, she ran for office and has flipped a seat in South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District. She will now have the constitutional authority to investigate and oversee his department.

This is important reporting, but the "unexpected activist" framing is so tired. Taylor Frazier McCollum isn't an unexpected activist, she is someone whose analysis of power moved her to action in the place where she & her family live. This is what politics is & Frazier McCollum is good at it.

Thousands across the U.S. have gotten involved to oppose data centers. One is a Maryland woman who'd been evicted after a pay cut and became a leader of a community effort that blocked a vast project. n.pr/4zzwDt3

Last night, the American people spoke loud and clear — they've had enough of an administration that ignores their needs. They voted for change. I have the privilege of coaching our red to blue candidates this cycle, and I couldn't be prouder of their resounding victories.

The attorney general is not the president's defense attorney and he's certainly not the White House chief of staff's attorney. Just saying this nonsense is disqualifying for an attorney general -- he's an idiot and a partisan hack, totally unqualified for the job.

AG Todd Blanche: "You have Garcia minutes after Stephen Miller was promoted to chief of staff telling him to 'lawyer up.' Well I'll tell you what. Stephen Miller has a lawyer. It's me."

Nashville: the current mayor of Nashville is a white progressive Jew who went to Montgomery Bell, then Brown (music and comp sci), before moving home. The city is a quarter black and very left wing, so TNGOP chopped it to suppress representation.

NEW: In leaked recordings, Peter Thiel argued that Nashville should be a moral alternative to Pope Leo XIV and the Catholic Church, which he called “a dubious ally” against a hypothetical future Antichrist Democratic president.

It's cool seeing how people ain't even sworn in yet and the election results appear to be somewhat influencing behavior already, from 'oh maybe I can do good things I was too afraid to do' to 'oh maybe I shouldn't do that bad thing I thought it was safe to do' to 'oh maybe I should...resign lol'

The point is not that Stephen Miller will have any more power or influence as formal Chief of Staff; it's that his elevation sends an unambiguous message to Democrats that conciliation ain't happening—sparing them from what otherwise could've devolved into a messy split over how to approach 2027–29.

Democrat Scott Colom's lead over Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith now exceeds 2,000 votes, further eroding her hopes of hanging on to her seat. She had hoped affidavit ballots would break her way and help her regain the lead, but so far she's lost ground with each new batch of votes counted.
