And among creatives and creative-adjacents there’s no taboo against AI use. Chinese users regularly produce and consume and *believe* the slop worse than Facebook boomers. AI content slots neatly into the dodgy channels that already dominated WeChat with fake or sensational human generated content.

This kind of talk breeds complacency. Republicans aren't doomed unless folks do the work. Volunteer, donate, attend a rally. And make a plan to vote. All gas, no brakes until November.

The problem here is that they have got it precisely backwards. They want this stuff to be something that had major negative societal repercussions - a kind of Cultural Revolution in America. In fact the defining feature of the period was how *superficial,* how *weightless* these commitments were.

Democratic Socialist Francesca Hong was defeated in the Wisconsin primary by Democrat David Crowley. I guess Hasan Piker isn't the kingmaker he thought he was.
