It is morally acceptable to kill nazis

I’m not interested in coming into the mentions of the fuckwits who piss and whine about how voting is ontologically evil to yell at them, but I refuse to be kind if they try to demand moral absolution from me for failing to do the bare minimum that was required in 2024 to save millions of lives.

Louder for those in the back The UCP's gerrymandering should be of concern to every Canadian, no matter what political affiliation Because if Smith & the UCP can gerrymander Alberta, then your provincial government can gerrymander your province This needs to be challenged #cdnpoli #ableg #abpoli 🇨🇦

In Canada, we don’t allow rigged elections. But the UCP keeps breaking democratic norms by giving themselves the power to redraw Alberta's new election maps. It's a blatant attempt to cheat in the next election. We will always fight for fair elections.

I think there may be people who haven’t heard of this incident, since the movie hasn’t been made yet, so:

So I just learned about the 1986 airplane hijacking attempt in #Oulu, #Finland, and now you too are going to. Because I burst out laughing in a train reading about it. It has: ✔️beer (lots)! ✔️hijinks! ✔️weird occult Nazis! ✔️✔️✔️"HYPNOTIC-MAGNETIC GAZE!" Why oh why this isn't a movie yet! (a THREAD.)

Pekka Siitoin (1944-2003), the Reichsführer of Finland (self-employed), a satanist and a "raunchologist" in his latter years. In the photo, an old man dressed in a red cape and shorts, wearing long "horns" on his head and holding a wooden cross upside down, is making a hand gesture. He is sitting on a porch and looks very, very silly.

Among other things, he declared he would be the first Finn to have sex with an "ufo woman," and also knew nifty spells like how to drink a lot of booze but stay sober ("drink two glasses of milk and eat 200 g of cheese. Then say: 'Oh cow, in You I trust.'")

But he also was convicted of a bombing and arson of a printer of the newspaper of the Finnish Communist Party. Fuck Nazis.

Every Ukraine backer who argued Trump would not be so bad, Trump could be persuaded to back Ukraine, that Trump was getting irritated with Putin, that the US just wanted peace--should have the basic decency to admit that they made it all up. Trump was with Putin, always.

Putin: “Russia is exploring the possibility of cooperation with the US in the Arctic.” Just a reminder of Trump’s lies that he wanted Greenland to keep Russia out of the Arctic.

"This was identified early on as the likely outcome." From the Spanish-American War to the Banana Wars, the heavy hand of US business interests has always influenced, if not outright controlled, US policy in the Americas.

In August, President Trump announced he had signed the “biggest oil deal in world history.” ProPublica reviewed the deal and found it gives a small group of people largely handpicked by the Trump administration long-term control of the enterprise.

This is a reasonable summary of where we're at. Our non-US trade has declined substantially (although thats mostly in the gold) and even excluding gold, we have increased exports to other countries, so far the strategy is working. But we need to get moving on manufacturing

How Canada is Decoupling From the US

In Response to Trump’s Tariffs, Canada Has Successfully Boosted non-US Trade to Record Highs—But it Remains Deeply Tied to America

The recent Starlink / Starshield incident in Ukraine has created a dangerous precedence for the US export industry, many haven't yet grasped. The sudden deactivation respectively curtailing of those systems without warning not only cost precious lives, but also equipment worth millions.

Whether it is Starlink, the F-35, Tomahawk missiles or HIMARS. All those systems run on software and in many cases can only properly operate with recent updates. You don't even need have a kill switch.

Trump and Musk have given the best reason why not to buy American. Customers - governmental and private alike - around the globe will take note of this and act accordingly, and I wouldn't be surprised if this won't be limited to US military products only.

Turns out the Biden admin was the aberration. A brief interregnum where an admin fiddled as the US smoldered before it was reignited into a conflagration that is burning everything to the ground. None of the actual leaders & planners for the events of 6 January 2021 were held accountable. 2/

And so an American Rubicon was crossed. The revolt against the constitution & constitutional order never ended. It was rolled into the GOP's 2022 midterm campaigns & Trump's 2024 presidential campaign. And it eventually paid out w/his reelection & GOP majority control of Congress. 8/
